Always code as if the guy who ends up maintaining your code will be a violent psychopath who knows where you live!
Hi, I am an experienced Software Developer who can bring a diverse skill set and creative drive to the tech team.
I am proficient at designing and developing scalable systems and specializes in thinking outside the box to find unique solutions to difficult engineering problems.
It is not the actual work but the challenging creative process that goes behind it which inspires me to think out of the box to do something new, something satisfactory!
Here is a brief timeline of my career till now:
|Jul’18 - Present||Synaptic.io||Senior Software Development Engineer|
|May’17 - Jul’18||Shuttl||Senior Software Development Engineer|
|Oct’14 - May’17||Adobe||Software Development Engineer|
|Jun’14 - Oct’14||Webyog, Inc.||Software Engineering Intern|
Jul’18 - Present | Gurugram, India
I am working in the core platform development team.
Synaptic is a Vy Capital backed early stage fintech startup, which helps investors gain meaning insights through data.
May’17 - July’18 | Gurugram, India
Worked in Innovation Team (R&D) as a Senior Software Developer.
Being in a product based startup, I got to work on the bleeding edge of the Shuttl spectrum. It was primarily a Backend developer role which sometimes required developing and designing each and every bit including hardware, front end, back end, design, databases, project management.
Here’s a glimpse of my work here:
Coupon Dispersal System: Implemented CDS as a one stop ad-hoc coupon generation and distribution system which enabled us to ensure more growth across the company in multiple teams. This was a result of problems identified largely around information asymmetry and lack of a central information system. The solution revolves around creating such a system where human intelligence is not required at the execution level.
Some of the key highlights of the project are:
S.A.F.E. by Shuttl: I took the ownership of the project S.A.F.E. Shuttl and implemented an array of features from scratch like auto onboarding authentication via face detection and recognition, ShuttlTV - an innovative product to split the audio stream and play it over the earphones separate from the video stream and an always on Alcohol detector - so as to cut off the ignition if alcohol is detected and all of this powered by Raspberry Pi 3 + Arduino. Check the attached links for respective media coverage.
Update: Shuttl S.A.F.E won FICCI’s “Road Safety Product & Solution” 2017 special jury award.
Network Optimization for route efficiency (Travelling Salesman Problem): I helped design the network optimisation system from grounds up so as to be able to schedule the buses efficiently on the route map to minimize the wait time delta between trips and maximise the utilization of the whole system so as to increase revenue without adding any additional resources.
Oct’14 - May’17 | Noida, India
I worked in Adobe Experience Manager(AEM) Team of Adobe Marketing Cloud as a Software Developer.
My work involved developing new features and enhancing existing features in AEM (full-stack) which were a part of product roadmap and requirements of partners and vendors.
Jun’14 - Oct’14 | Bengaluru, India
I worked in Webyog as a Software Engineering Intern.
My responsibility was to develop and execute test plans and design, manage, and document functional, regression, and stress tests to ensure the product works smoothly for all users.
In short, break what a developer develops and help users when they are lost.
